It turns out that “loath maniacs joked” is an anagram of my full name; a former online persona of mine anagrams as “maniac erects guns.”  You can find any anagram you’d like (and many you wouldn’t like) at the famed Internet Anagram Server.  And if you don’t know what an anagram is, the same site will tell you.
